Sri Raghavendra Anjaneya temple – Malleshwaram

Sri Raghavendra Anjaneya temple is located on the 8th Cross in Malleshwaram, Bengaluru, Karnataka and at a distance of about 3.5 kms from Sangolli Rayanna Railway Station and Kempegowda Bus Station. The nearest Namma Metro station is Sampige Road Station in Malleshwaram.

The consecration of the idol of Sri Anjaneya Swamy was performed in 1900 AD. Sri Raghavendra Swamy Vrundavan was built in 1945. Sri Sudheendra Tirtha Swamy,

Pontiff of Sri Puttige Mutt, which is one of the Udupi Ashta Mutts, re-consecrated the idol of Sri Anjaneya, in the gracious presence of Sri Bhandarakere Mutt Pontiff Sri Vidhyamanya Tirtharu and Sri Pejavara Mutt Pontiff Sri Visvesha Tirtharu in the year 1945 after renovations.
The temple is administered by Muzrai Department of Government of Karnataka.

ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಆಂಜನೇಯ ದೇವಾಲಯ ಮಲ್ಲೇಶ್ವರಂ

ಶ್ರೀ ಆಂಜನೇಯ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಾಲಯವು ಮಲ್ಲೇಶ್ವರದ ಸುಧೀಂದ್ರನಗರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು, ಸಂಗೊಳ್ಳಿ ರಾಯಣ್ಣ ರೈಲುನಿಲ್ದಾಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡ ಬಸ್ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣಗಳಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು 3.5 ಕಿ.ಮೀ. ದೂರವಿದೆ. ಹತ್ತಿರದ ನಮ್ಮ ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣವು ಸಂಪಿಗೆರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ.

ಶ್ರೀ ಆಂಜನೇಯ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯು 1945 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗಿನ ಪುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಮಠಾಧೀಶರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಪರಮ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಧೀಂದ್ರ ತೀರ್ಥರಿಂದ ಶ್ರೀ ಭಂಡಾರಕೇರಿ ಮಠಾಧೀಶರಾದ ಶ್ರೀವಿದ್ಯಾಮಾನ್ಯತೀರ್ಥರ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀ ಪೇಜಾವರಮಠಾಧೀಶರಾದ ಶ್ರೀವಿಶ್ವೇಶತೀರ್ಥರ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪುನ: ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಮುಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶಿಲಾ ಫಲಕವು ಈ ಘಟನೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಈ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯು ಯಾವ ಪೂಜಾದಿಗಳು, ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರಗಳಿಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಧೀಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥರ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಆ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಗೆ ಗರ್ಭಗೃಹವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿ, ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನ: ಭಕ್ತರ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯವು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಮುಜರಾಯಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಆಡಳಿತಕ್ಕೊಳಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ.

ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಆಂಜನೇಯ ದೇವಾಲಯವು ಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸ್ಕ್ವೇರ್ ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಿಂದ ಕೇವಲ ಮೂರು ಕಿಮೀ ಅಂತರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ.
