Sri Sampangirama Swamy Temple – Cunningham Road

Sri Sampangirama Swamy Temple is located in Cunningham Road, Vasanthanagar, Bangalore. This temple has history of over 400 years and it is believed that the God has evolved out of the rock. The main deity of the temple is Lord Sri Rama. In the main sanctum, lord Sri Rama is seen in sitting posture along with Seetha and on to the right of Sri Rama, Sri Lakshmana Swamy is standing with Anjali mudra. Another speciality of this temple is that, Lord Sri Rama is seen blessing Sri Hanumantha who is always chanting Sri Rama Tharaka manthra. In the temple premises, other shrines of God Shiva, Goddess Parvathi Devi, Ganesha and Navagraha idols can be seen and also serpent stones are consecrated on Ashwath Katte/platform. Vasantha Navarathri Festival is celebrated in grandeur. This temple’s administration is taken care by Muzrai Department of Karnataka.

ಶ್ರೀ ಸಂಪಂಗಿರಾಮ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಾಲಯ – ಕನ್ನಿಂಗ್ ಹ್ಯಾಮ್ ರಸ್ತೆ

ಶ್ರೀ ಸಂಪಂಗಿರಾಮ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಾಲಯವು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಕನ್ನಿಂಗ್ ಹ್ಯಾಮ್ ರಸ್ತೆ, ವಸಂತನಗರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಮಾರು 400 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಇತಿಹಾಸವಿದ್ದು, ದೇವರು ಬಂಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆವಿರ್ಭವಿಸಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರತೀತಿ ಇದೆ. ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ದೇವರು ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮ ದೇವರು. ಗರ್ಭಗುಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಂಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಸೀತಾ ಸಮೇತ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮನು ಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಸೀನಭಂಗಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು, ಶ್ರೀ ಸೀತಾರಾಮಚಂದ್ರರಿಗೆ ಬಲಪಾರ್ಶ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣಸ್ವಾಮಿಯು ಅಂಜಲೀಮುದ್ರೆಯಿಂದ ನಿಂತಿರುವ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರದೇವರು ಸರ್ವದಾ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮ ತಾರಕ ಮಂತ್ರವನ್ನು ಜಪಿಸುವ ಹನುಮಂತನಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಕೃಪಾದೃಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಬೀರುತ್ತಾ, ಬಲಹಸ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂರ್ಣ ಅಭಯ ಅನುಗ್ರಹ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಕಾಣಬಹುದು. ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿವಾರ ದೇವತೆಗಳಾದ ಶಿವ, ಪಾರ್ವತಿದೇವಿ, ಗಣೇಶ, ನವಗ್ರಹಗಳ ಗುಡಿಯನ್ನು ಕಾಣಬಹುದು ಹಾಗು ಅಶ್ವಥ ಕಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಗರ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ವಸಂತ ನವರಾತ್ರಿ ಉತ್ಸವವು ಬಹು ವಿಜೃಂಭಣೆಯಿಂದ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಆಡಳಿತವನ್ನು ‘ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ದತ್ತಿ ಇಲಾಖೆ’ಯು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಶ್ರೀ ಸಂಪಂಗಿರಾಮ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಾಲಯವು ಕಬ್ಬನ್ ಪಾರ್ಕ್ ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಿಂದ ಕೇವಲ ಎರಡು ಕಿಮೀ ಅಂತರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ.
