“Sri Yogadeepika Vidhyapeeta” is a Vedic Education Centre which is run and maintained by “Sri Palimar Matha”, one of the Astha Mutt’s in Udupi. Sri Yogadeepika Vidhyapeeta belongs to “Sri Palimar Matha”. The statues of “Sri Pranadevaru” and “Sri Vedavyasa Devaru” are consecrated in the premises of Sri Yogadeepika Vidhyapeeta. Students are offered free education, meals along with boarding facilities.

The student who joins “Sri Yogadeepika Vidhyapeeta”, at the age of 8 has the oppurtuniuty to stay back till he completes his Master Degree. Education is imparted in the subjects of Veda, Vedantha, Aagama, Paurohithya, Grammar, Tarka and Literature etc..

In addition to these, students are trained to take up exams in subjects of “Poetry” and “Literature”, conducted by the “Karnataka Sanskrit University”. Presently, students are trained under the guidance and supervision of “Sri Sri Vidhyadheesha Tirtha”, the current Chancellor of “Sri Yogadeepika Vidhyapeeta”.

ಶ್ರೀ ಯೋಗದೀಪಿಕಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಪೀಠವು ಉಡುಪಿಯ ಅಷ್ಟಮಠಗಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದ ಪಲಿಮಾರು ಮಠಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಗುರುಕುಲದಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಶ್ರೀ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಪ್ರಾಣದೇವರ’ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ವೇದವ್ಯಾಸರ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತ ಊಟ, ವಸತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ವಿದ್ಯಾಪೀಠಕ್ಕೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ೮ನೆ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ನಂತರ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಾಭ್ಯಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ನಾತಕ ಪದವಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ಭವಿಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ನಿದರ್ಶನಗಳಿವೆ. ಈ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವೇದ, ವೇದಾಂತ, ಆಗಮ, ಪೌರೋಹಿತ್ಯ, ವ್ಯಾಕರಣ, ತರ್ಕ, ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಮುಂತಾದ ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.ಇವುಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳಾದ ಕಾವ್ಯ, ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ, ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ವತ್ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳಿಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ವಿದ್ಯಾಪೀಠದ ಕುಲಪತಿಗಳಾದ ಪರಮಪೂಜ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿದ್ಯಾಧೀಶ ಶ್ರೀ ಪಾದಂಗಳವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ.
